Big news for air travelers – Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has become expensive once again since December. Oil Marketing Companies (IOC, BPCL and HPCL) have increased ATF prices for the third consecutive month, due to which the operating costs of airlines have increased further. The new city-wise rates are as follows: ATF in Delhi is ₹99,676.77 per kilolitre, Kolkata is at ₹1,02,371.02 per kilolitre, Mumbai is at ₹93,281.04 per kilolitre, and Chennai is the highest at ₹1,03,301.80 per kilolitre. This month, ATF prices have increased by an average of ₹ 5,113.75 per kilolitre, which can have a big impact on the budget of airlines.
