Gold Silver Price Today: A fall in the prices of gold and silver is being seen in the domestic future market on Monday, March 16. Till the time of writing the news, the gold future future with expiry of April 2, 2026 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) was trading with a fall of about Rs 1200.
Gold futures on MCX opened at Rs 1,57,347 (per 10 grams). On its last trading day, gold on MCX had closed trading at Rs 1,58,466.

On MCX, silver with expiry of May 5, 2026 was trading at Rs 2,56,100 (per kg), down by 1.29 per cent or Rs 3335. Silver started the trading day at Rs 2,55,101. The high level of silver during the day’s trading was Rs 2,56,158.
Today, 10 grams of silver is being sold at the rate of Rs 2,749 in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. At the same time, to buy 100 grams of silver, customers will have to spend Rs 27,490. The price of 10 grams of silver in Chennai is Rs 2,799.
