The Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER), a premier R&D laboratory under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, is renowned for its expertise in advanced technologies including RF/Microwave Engineering, Medical Electronics, Electromagnetics, Photonics, Quantum Technology, and Millimeter Wave Technology.

SAMEER is offering a well-structured one-year Apprenticeship Training Program for Graduate and Diploma holders under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This program provides practical training in cutting-edge technological fields, access to state-of-the-art equipment, and the opportunity to work alongside experienced scientists and engineers.

The training will be conducted at SAMEER’s facilities in Powai and Navi Mumbai.
This is a valuable opportunity for fresh graduates and diploma holders to enhance their technical competencies and gain hands-on experience in a prestigious government R&D institution.

SAMEER : Important Dates

  • Walk-in Interview Dates:
    • Electronics & Telecommunication (Graduate & Diploma): 30th July 2025
    • Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Commerce, Physics (Graduate): 31st July 2025
  • Candidates must report by 9:00 AM sharp; entry will not be permitted after 10:00 AM.

Stipend Details

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as follows:

Graduate Apprentice Trainees

  • First 6 Months: ₹10,500 per month
  • Next 6 Months: ₹11,000 per month

Diploma Apprentice Trainees

  • First 6 Months: ₹8,500 per month
  • Next 6 Months: ₹9,000 per month

Additional Benefits:

  • Subsidized canteen facility
  • Access to employee transport services (where available)

Selection Process

  1. Walk-in Interview: Candidates must attend the interview on the scheduled date with all required documents.
  2. Document Verification: Original certificates will be checked, and photocopies must be submitted.
  3. Medical Fitness: Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate from a government hospital before joining.
  4. Final Selection: Based on interview performance and eligibility verification.

Note:

  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
  • Selection does not guarantee employment after apprenticeship completion.

Application Process

  1. Confirm Eligibility: Make sure you fulfill the required educational qualifications and age limits.
  2. Register on NATS Portal: Candidates must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and get approval from BOAT, Mumbai.
  3. Prepare Documents: Gather all required documents (original + photocopies).
  4. Attend Walk-in Interview: Report to the venue on the specified date and time.

Candidates must bring the following for verification:

  1. Duly filled application form
  2. 10th & 12th Marksheets
  3. Graduation/Diploma Certificate & Marksheets
  4. Age Proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Birth Certificate)
  5. Passport-size Photographs (2 Nos.)
  6. Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  7. Experience Certificates (if any)
