State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification for the recruitment of 13,735 posts of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales). In this recruitment, the number of posts has been fixed differently for different states. Both male and female candidates can apply for this. The online application process will start from 17 December 2024 and the last date of application is 7 January 2025.

Reservation:

There is a provision of reservation for reserved categories in the recruitment as per rules.

Candidates of EWS, SC/ST, OBC, and PwBD categories will get the benefit of reserved posts.

Important:

While applying for state-wise posts, the candidate must have knowledge of the language of that state.

It is mandatory to pass the Language Proficiency Test.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 : Qualification

Educational Eligibility:

Graduation in any subject from any recognized university or institute is mandatory.
Final year students, whose result will be declared before the last date of application (7 January 2025), can also apply.
Language Knowledge:

Candidate must have knowledge of the local language of the state applied for.
Proof of proficiency in local language or passing the Language Proficiency Test (LPT) is required.
Other Qualifications:

Must be a citizen of India.
There will be provision for relaxation in qualification and experience for reserved category.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 : Age Limit

  1. Minimum Age: 20 years
  2. Maximum Age: 28 years
  3. Age Calculation:
  4. Age will be calculated as on 1st April 2024.
  5. Age Relaxation for Reserved Category:
  6. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates will get age relaxation as per the age limit.
  7. PwBD (Person with Disability) candidates will also get additional age relaxation.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 : Application Fees

  1. For General, OBC and EWS candidates: ₹750/-
  2. For SC, ST, Ex Servicemen and PwBD (Disabled) candidates: Free
  3. Payment Mode:
  4. Application fee will be paid through online mode.
  5. Candidates can pay the fee through credit card, debit card, net banking etc.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 : Selection process

The selection of candidates in SBI Bank Clerk Recruitment will be done in the following stages:

Prelims Exam:
This exam will be a preliminary stage and will be conducted online.
It will have a total of 100 questions, divided into 3 sections:

English Language

Quantitative Aptitude

Reasoning Ability
Mains Exam:
Candidates who qualify the prelims exam will be called for the main exam.
This exam will also be online, and will have a total of 200 questions, divided into 4 sections:

General/Economics/Banking Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude
Reasoning Ability
English Language
Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
After the main exam, candidates will have to take a Language Proficiency Test (LPT) to show proficiency in the local language.
This exam will be based on the local language of the particular state, in which candidates are required to be certified in the state language.

Document Verification:

After the prelims and main exam, the authenticity of the documents of the candidates will be checked.

It will check their educational qualifications, caste certificate, age certificate, and other important documents.

Medical Test:

A medical test will also be conducted for the selected candidates.

This will ensure that the candidates are physically fit for the job.

Important:

Candidates may face negative marking at each stage during the selection process, so answer every question carefully.
