India’s Goods Export to India: Relations between India and China are slowly improving. According to official figures, India’s exports to China have gained 20 percent jump in the first four months of business year 2025-26. In these four months, India has sent goods worth $ 5.76 billion (about Rs 50,112 crore) to China. This figure is much higher than exports in the same period last year, which is constantly increasing rapidly despite global trade obstacles.

Export of so billion dollars every month

In May 2025, the export reached a summit of $ 1.63 billion, which was more than $ 1.32 billion in the same month a year ago. In April, the shipment increased from $ 1.25 billion to $ 1.39 billion from a year ago, while in June, exports increased year-on-year by 17 percent to $ 1.38 billion.

In July, India exported $ 1.35 billion, which is more than $ 1.06 billion of the same month a year ago. This growth reflects the re -improvement of trading between the two Asian economies. India has a historically high trade deficit with China, which was $ 99.2 billion in FY 2025.

Why did export boom?

The April-June quarter of FY 26 saw a boom in exports due to strong demand for energy, electronics and agricultural-based products. Export of petroleum products almost doubled to $ 883 million, while electronic goods increased three times to $ 521 million. Export of biological and inorganic chemicals increased by 16.3 percent to $ 335.1 million and the export of gems and jewelery led to a 72.7 % jump.

Business relations between China and India are improving

On the other hand, India asked for medicines, semiconductors, electronics, machinery, chemicals, plastic and many other industrial goods from China. There is more improvement in India’s business relations with China every month compared to last year. American tariffs can also be the reason for this. Earlier this month, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and his Indian counterpart S.K. Jaishankar met in New Delhi. During this time both of them spoke on many bilateral, regional and international issues.
