The Fintech company, which made Grampe and Viona Pay app, said in a press release on 8 September that this approval will give pace to its plans to expand digital payments in India’s Tier II, Tier III and rural markets in partnership with banks.

From farmers to shopkeepers benefits

Viona Fintech founder Rabindranath Yarlagadda said, “This approval reflects the trust of NPCI in our fintech applications to make UPI payment more accessible to farmers, shopkeepers and families” he further said that the company focuses on making safe and simple financial equipment safe and simple for both urban and deprived communities.
