In the year 2026, the public holiday is starting from 26th January. The stock market will remain closed on the occasion of Republic Day. After this, there will be a holiday in the stock market on March 3 due to Holi. There will be a holiday of Shri Ram Navami on 26th March and Shri Mahavir Jayanti on 31st March. There will be no trading in the stock market on Good Friday on 3 April and Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April.

Maharashtra Day will be holiday on 1st May. After this, there will be Bakrid holiday on 28th May. There will be Ganesh Chaturthi holiday on 14th September, while there will be no normal trading on 2nd October due to Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. There will be a holiday for Dussehra on 20th October, Diwali-Balipratipada on 10th November and Guru Nanak Jayanti on 24th November. There will be no business on Christmas, the last big festival of the year, on 25 December.

First and last holiday of the market in the year 2026

According to the holiday list of NSE, the first trading holiday of the stock market in the year 2026 will be on 26 January on the occasion of Republic Day. At the same time, the last trading holiday of the year will be on the occasion of Christmas on 25th December.
