Rajasthan Jail Prahari Bharti 2025 Selection Process

The selection procedure for Rajasthan Jail Prahari Recruitment 2024 is as follows:

Written Exam (400 Marks)
This exam will be in three parts:

Part ‘A’: 180 Marks – Mental Ability and Reasoning Ability

Part ‘B’: 100 Marks – General Knowledge, General Science and Current Affairs

Part ‘C’: 120 Marks – History, Art, Culture and Geography of Rajasthan

4 marks will be given for every correct answer and there will be negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer.

Candidates must secure a minimum of 36% to 40% marks (as per category) to qualify in the written exam.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (100 Marks)
This exam will be separate for male and female candidates, in which running and physical measurement test will be conducted.

Running for Male Candidates: 5 Km in Maximum 25 Minutes
Run for Female Candidates: 5 Km in Maximum 35 Minutes
Physical Efficiency Test will not be compulsory for ex-servicemen but they will be included in the Physical Measurement Test.
Document Verification:
After qualifying the written test and physical test, document verification of the candidates will be done.
Final Selection:
After document verification, finally selected candidates will be given appointment in various Jail Divisions of Rajasthan.

Rajasthan Jail Prahari Bharti 2025 Physical

1. Physical Measurement Test (PST)

For Male Candidates:
Height: Minimum 168 cm
Chest: 81 cm without inflation, and 86 cm with inflation
For Female Candidates:
Height: Minimum 152 cm
Weight: Minimum 47.5 kg
This test is qualifying in nature, i.e. it is mandatory to pass it, but it does not carry any marks.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

For Male Candidates:
Run: 5 Km, within maximum 25 minutes
For Female Candidates:
Run: 5 Km, within maximum 35 minutes
For Ex-Servicemen:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is not mandatory for Ex-Servicemen, but they will have to appear in Physical Measurement Test.
