Youngest Billionaire of the world: As technology is progressing, new opportunities are emerging for the youth. Taking advantage of these, they are achieving great success at a young age. Surya Midha of Indian origin is one of them. At the age of just 22, Surya has overtaken Mark Zuckerberg with a net worth of $ 2.2 billion (about Rs 18,000 crore).

Earlier, the title of youngest self-made billionaire in the world was in the name of Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg at the age of 23, but now by achieving this position at the age of 22, Surya has broken Zuckerberg’s 18 years old record.

How did you achieve this position?

Surya achieved this position on the basis of his AI startup company Mercor, which he started in the year 2023 along with his two friends – Brendan Foody and Adarsh ​​Hiremath. Mercor is an AI-based platform in which applicants are interviewed through an AI avatar and in this way the right talent is identified for the companies.

Through this, the recruitment process is made easier for companies. After receiving ‘Series C’ funding of $350 million in October 2025, the company’s valuation has reached $10 billion. At present, Foodi is the CEO of the company, Hiremath is the CTO and Midha is the board chairman.

Family settled in America from Delhi

Born in Mountain View, Midha’s childhood was spent in California. His parents settled in America from Delhi. He studied Foreign Studies from Georgetown University, while Hiremath has been an economics student at Harvard and Foodi Georgetown. According to Forbes, Surya is the youngest billionaire in the world.
