Trump Tariffs: US President Donald Trump, who created an international stir by imposing high tariffs on countries around the world, got a big shock when the Supreme Court of the United States rejected his decision.

While this decision of the court brought great relief to the countries around the world, Trump gave a strong reaction to it. He said on Monday that due to this decision of the Supreme Court, Americans may have to suffer a loss of thousands of millions of dollars.

US President’s new warning

President Donald Trump said that this decision will benefit those countries and companies which were taking economic advantage of America for the last several decades. He defended his tariff decision by saying that he had the right to impose tariffs in other ways and was preparing to take steps in this direction.

Posting on the social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote that tariffs are extremely important for the US economy and the Supreme Court has weakened his efforts.

He said in his post that the court knew that they wanted to implement the tariff policy in the interest of the country at all costs, but despite this the court gave relief to those countries and companies who have been taking advantage of America for a long time. However, they also made it clear that they will now move towards implementing tariffs through other routes.

What is the whole matter?

Along with this, President Donald Trump also strongly criticized Jerome Powell, head of the US central bank Federal Reserve. He alleged that the renovation project of the Federal Reserve Complex in Washington DC has not been handled properly.

According to news agency Associated Press, this statement has come at a time when the Supreme Court has canceled many import duties imposed by the Trump administration. After this, the Trump administration is now considering options to regain tariff revenue of about $1.6 trillion.
