Big news for pensioners, do this work now otherwise pension may stop

Life certificate for pensioners: All pensioners of Central Government and State Government submit their life certificate to the concerned department once a year. Due to which their pension continues without any interruption. The method of submitting life certificate has been made easier by the government.

Now you can get life certificate made offline as well as online. The government is providing special facilities to pensioners above 80 years of age. For seriously ill pensioners, the facility of making life certificate at home is also available.

Pensioners should submit life certificate on these dates

General pensioners of Central and State Government submit their life certificate between 1st November and 30th November. So that there is no interruption in their pension. At the same time, the government has started the date of submission of life certificate for pensioners above 80 years of age from October 1 itself.

So that they do not face the problem of crowd and also get extra time. If you do not submit your life certificate on these dates, your pension may be stopped.

offline method

If you are facing trouble in making life certificate digitally, then you can get your life certificate made from the nearest bank branch, post office and common service center. Also, for hospitalized and seriously ill pensioners, many banks and post offices send their representatives to get life certificates made at home.

online method

Pensioners can use Jeevan Pramaan portal or UMANG App to make life certificate online. Under this, biometric verification of pensioners is done after filling the Aadhaar number, mobile number and pension account information. If all the information is correct, your life certificate is created. This proof ID is sent to the concerned bank or department.
